Product introduction

4360 is a high-performance chlorinated rubber topcoat composedof chlorinated rubber, plasticizer, titanium dioxide, coloringpigments, additives and solvents. lt has excellent corrosion andwater resistance.

Recommended applications

It is used to protect and decorate the surface of ship waterline, hulland superstructure, as well as the onshore steel structures such aspower plants, steel plants, wharf steel structures, chemical plantsbridges, containers, hydraulic steel gates, workshops, external wallsof oil storage tanks, dry gas holders, etc.

Recommended DFT：70 μm (corresponding WFT=168 μm)

Theoretical quantity required (70 μm)：6 m² /L or 4.3 m² /L

Construction conditions

The previous coat should be completely dry. Remove all oilstains and sundries on the paint film.

The substrate must have a temperature >3°C above the dewpoint.The environment should be <85%RH.

It is recommended to paint at above -10'c. The painting surfacemust be clean and dry.

It is recommended to maintain strong ventilation duringpainting and drying.

In case of high temperature, diluent will be addedappropriately to avoid dry spraying.

Painting method

Painting methods：airless spraying/air spraying/brush coating/ roller coating

Diluent：101 epoxy diluent

Dilution：0-5% of the coating weight, The actual addition may be adjusted according to the field painting method

Nozzle size：0.43-0.48 mm

Spraying pressure：10-20 Mpa

Film thickness：Non-recommended film thickness may be adopted according to the purpose and area. But this wil change the coating rateand affect the drying time and repainting interval., The normal dry film thickness of a single coat is: 40-110ym.

Packing specifications：18L or 25kg

Shelf life：24 months
