Product introduction

4401 is a kind of two-component organic silicon heat-resistantcoat that forms a hard coating after curing in atmosphericenvironment.it provides a temperature resistance up to 600°C.

Recommended applications

It can be used as a long-term protective coating for hot pipesexhaust pipes, stacks and other hot surfaces.

Construction conditions

Remove the contaminants(e.g.oils and greases) withappropriate detergent.

Abrasive sand blasting to min.Sa 2½.

When painting, the substrate must have a temperature >3°Cabove the dew point. The environment should be <85%RH.

It is recommended to paint at above 5°c. The painting surfacemust be clean and dry.

It is recommended to maintain strong ventilation duringpainting and drying.

In case of high temperature, diluent will be addedappropriately to avoid dry spraying.

Maintain a 50-100%RH during paint film curing.

Painting methods：airless spraying/air spraying/brush coating/ roller coating

Diluent：85^# high temperature resistant special diluent

Dilution：0-5% of the coating weight, The actual addition may be adjusted according to the field painting method

Nozzle size：0.38-0.48 mm

Spraying pressure：10-15 Mpa

Film thickness：Non-recommended film thickness may be adopted according to the purpose and area. But this will change the coating rateand affect the drying time and repainting interval, The normal dry film thickness of a single coat is: 15-30μm.
