Product introduction

5245 is atwo-component aliphaticisocyanate-cured acrylicpolyurethane topcoat. it has a high solid content and excellentweather resistance. its paint film is tough with high mechanicastrength and good chemical resistance.

Recommended applications

This product can be used as a topcoat for moderate to severeatmospheric corrosion environment requiring weather resistanceperformance,such as gloss and color retention.

Proportion：10 :1 (volume ratio)or 13.2 :1(weight ratio)

Recommended DFT：60 μm (corresponding WFT=92 μm)

Theoretical quantity required (60 μm)：10.8 m² /L or 7.45 m² /L

SG：1.45 kg/L

Flash point：Above 29℃

VOCs：352 g/L

Mixture's pot life (20°c after mixing)：2.5h

Full cure (20℃)：7d

Construction conditions

The substrate should be clean and dry. The paintingtemperature should be higher than 3'C above the dew pointto avoid condensation.

Curing agent is sensitive to moisture, so it is recommended to apply this product at<85%RH.

This product can be applied at temperature lower to -10℃.

Adequate ventilation is required during drying.

Painting methods：airless spraying/air spraying/brush coating/roller coating

Diluent：109 epoxy diluent

Dilution：0-5% of the coating weight, The actual addition may be adjusted according to the field painting method

Nozzle size：0.43-0.48 mm

Spraying pressure：14 Mpa

Packing specifications：Component A:24kg,component B:1.8kgor Component A:16L, Component B: 1.6L

Shelf life：24 months for base material , 24 months for curing agent

Detergent：109 Diluent (after painting, clean the equipment in timeto avoid paint curing)
