Product introduction

5250 is atwo-component repaintable polyurethane topcoatbased on aliphatic isocyanate and hydroxyl acrylic resin. it hasexcellent gloss and color retention, weather resistance anddurability. lts paint film has good toughness, adhesion, chemicaresistance and water resistance.

Recommended applications

It can be used as high-performance topcoat onto steel structure oraluminum alloy surfaces of advanced products, including largevehicles, train carriages, locomotive heads, yachts, ships, docksbridges,machine tools,instruments and grain machinery.

Construction conditions

The paint film of the previous coat must be dry.

Remove oil, dust, moisture and other impurities from theprevious paint film.

The substrate must be higher than 3°C above the dew point.

The environment should be <75%RH.

It is recommended to paint at above 0°C. The painting surfacemust be clean and dry.

It is recommended to maintain strong ventilation duringpainting and drying.

Painting method

Painting methods：airless spraying/air spraying/brush coating/roller coating

Diluent：110 epoxy diluent

Dilution：0-5% of the coating weight, The actual addition may be adjusted according to the field painting method

Nozzle size：0.28-0.33 mm

Spraying pressure：15-20 Mpa

Film thickness：It is recommended to apply two coats with a dry filmthickness of 80 μm.

Shelf life：Component A:12 months,component B:6 months
