Advantages of Chlorinated Polypropylene (CPP)
1. Excellent Physical and Chemical Properties: Chlorinated polypropylene is a non-toxic white or yellow solid with high hardness, wear resistance, acid resistance, brine resistance, and aging resistance. Its melting point is generally between 80-160℃, and its decomposition temperature is between 70-160℃. These properties make it perform well in various environments.
2. Wide Range of Applications:
Ink and Coatings: Chlorinated polypropylene is a main raw material in the production of composite inks for BOPP films. It has good film-forming properties and gloss and is suitable for various printing inks, especially printing inks for double-layer PP films, PP film-paper, and PP film-aluminum composite materials.
3. Adhesives: It has good adhesion to polypropylene, polyethylene, paper, lead film, and other materials, so it is widely used in various adhesives, including adhesives for BOPP film and paper.
4. Flame Retardants: Due to the chlorine atoms on the molecular chain of chlorinated polypropylene, it also has some applications in flame retardants.
5. Environmental Protection and Safety: Chlorinated polypropylene is non-toxic, chemically stable, and non-hazardous. It can be stored at room temperature and kept dry.
6. Cost-Effectiveness: Due to its excellent properties and wide applicability, chlorinated polypropylene can significantly reduce production costs and improve production efficiency during its production and application.
