Advantages of Chlorinated Rubber
1. Weather Resistance and Corrosion Resistance: The chlorinated rubber molecule has a tight structure, effectively resisting erosion from ultraviolet light, acids, and alkalis. Therefore, it is often used in outdoor environments such as bridges and building exteriors. This weather resistance allows the coating to maintain its vibrant color for a long time and prevents fading or aging.
2. Wide Applicability: Chlorinated rubber coatings can be applied in environments ranging from -20℃ to 50℃, unaffected by season or temperature, providing stable protection. Its excellent application performance meets various complex construction needs.
3. Excellent Anti-corrosion Performance: Chlorinated rubber coatings have extremely low permeability to water vapor and oxygen, effectively resisting erosion from moisture, salts, acids, alkalis, oxidants, and various corrosive gases. This chemically inert film-forming substance maintains the integrity of the coating even in harsh environments such as humid, rainy, or marine conditions.
4. Good Adhesion: Chlorinated rubber coatings exhibit good adhesion to steel metal surfaces. The solvents in the film-forming substance penetrate and enhance the adhesion between coatings, ensuring the continuity of the coating.
5. Fast Drying Characteristics: As a solvent-evaporated, physically film-forming coating, chlorinated rubber coatings have a fast solvent release rate. After application, they quickly dry to form a film. At room temperature, only a 4-6 hour interval is needed before applying a second coat.
6. Good Recoating Performance: Chlorinated rubber coatings have strong adhesion and can be dissolved by their own solvents, resulting in tight bonding between layers. Even after more than a year, the recoating performance remains excellent.
7. Environmental Performance: When exposed to a fire source, the chlorinated rubber coating decomposes to release chlorine gas, providing a certain flame-retardant effect to ensure safety.
